It is happening at a time when the COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing. It is leading to a debate for parents to either send their kids to school in person or do virtual learning.
Dr. Yacara Dozier, daycare owner and homeschooling professional, has a 12-year-old daughter who has been home-schooled since the first grade. Dozier started her out in private school and explored charter schools, but it didn’t meet her expectations of her daughter’s learning.
She joins Tashanea Whitlow on “BNC Live” to discuss the concept of homeschooling.
