But those rockets were shot down by a U.S. defense system. There were no reports of casualties or who shot the rockets. The U.S. military orchestrated an airstrike against ISIS-K in Afghanistan in retaliation. The strike came a day after ISIS-K attacked one of the airport's gates that left at least 170 dead, including 13 U.S. service members.
The White House said they have the capacity to evacuate the remaining 300 U.0.S citizens who want to leave before the Aug. 31 deadline.
