1:51Now PlayingThe Department of Education is investigating whether bans on mask mandates discriminate against students with disabilities.
It will look at Iowa, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Utah, as school officials in each state received a letter from the Office for Civil Rights informing them that bans on mask requirements could bar schools from issuing policies that could protect students from COVID-19.
According to an Axios-Ipsos poll, 20% percent of adults say they probably won’t take the COVID-19 vaccine and 14% say they are hard in their stance against getting vaccinated.
