0:52Now PlayingAfrika Bambaataa and the Zulu Nation are under a lawsuit after allegedly sexually abusing and sex trafficking a 12-year-old boy for an exchange of money for four years.
According to the United State Department of Justice, child sex trafficking refers to the recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, obtaining, patronizing or soliciting of a minor for the purpose of a commercial sex act.
The Metropolis Newspaper reported that former DJ Troi “Star” Torain had an interview with a Zulu Nation member, where he stated that he was sexually abused by other members and Bambaataa himself when he was a freshman in high school. This brought awareness to the sexual abuse allegations made against Bambaataa and prompted other victims to come forward.
Alleged victims have spoken about Bambaataa considering himself an intergalactic being. He believed he had to keep himself from wicked forces and that he received super powers by consuming the semen of young boys.
Assault, civil battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligent infliction of emotional distress and gross negligence are all causes of action in the Bambaataa lawsuit.
