12:19Now PlayingWelcome to “Making the Case” hosted by Yodit Tewolde.
There are developments in the killing of Ronald Greene, the 49-year-old Black man, by Louisiana state troopers.
After a month-long investigation by the Internal Affairs Division of the Louisiana State Police, Lieutenant John Clary will not face disciplinary action in connection to Greene's death. Internal Affairs said they couldn't determine whether Lt. Clary hid his body cam video on purpose.
The disciplinary charges accused Clary of hiding the body cam footage and lying to investigators about the circumstances of Greene's death.
Mona Hardin, Greene’s mother, joins Tewolde on “Making the Case” to discuss the decision.
