Today's salute goes to the women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. The sorority raised more than $2 million for HBCUs in just one day. The group exceeded their goal by 100%. The Impact Day initiative is conducted by the sorority every year in an effort to raise money for HBCUs like Howard University, where the sorority was founded in 1908.
