Gordon says the fallen R&B singer has finally “met his match” after getting away with his behavior for so long. The attorney believes the “Surviving R. Kelly” Lifetime documentary had already shaped the court of public opinion and made people see R. Kelly as guilty long before a verdict was ever known. Gordon says he doesn’t look to see the 54-year-old singer returning to the streets until he’s at least 75 or 80 years old. R. Kelly, who is also facing cases in Illinois and Minnesota, is set to be sentenced in May 2022. He was found guilty on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.
