as posted by the channelThe Biden administration put out a proposal to protect hundreds of thousands of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA recipients.
Under DACA, undocumented immigrant children brought to the U.S. can receive deferred action from deportation. That means if they came here with an adult and have been living here, they won't necessarily have to leave the U.S. if they are a DACA beneficiary. While they await for a path to citizenship, today’s administrative policy by the White House can guard them from deportation since Congress has yet to act in their favor.
