They were troubled by what they saw even though the Department of Homeland Security used a COVID-19-related public health order to block Haitian migrants from seeking asylum at the border. Additionally, they discovered that many individuals were not even tested for the virus before officials moved to deport them.
Dr. Haynes, an activist and pastor of Friendship-West Baptist Church in Dallas, joins Shannon LaNier on “Black News Tonight” to talk about what he witnessed at the border.
