Only one of the seven police officers involved in the killing of 41-year-old Daniel Prude last March in Rochester, New York, is facing disciplinary charges in connection with his death.
Prude was killed in March 2020, but the body camera footage wasn't released until six months later. It is because Prude's brother, Joe Prude, and their family attorney, made a freedom of information request.
Joe Prude, family attorney Elliot Shields and Janelle Fiona Griffith, NBC national reporter focusing on race and policing, join Laverne McGee on “Making the Case” to talk about the case.
All this and more on “Making the Case.”
