During the appearance, Cocoran and Whoopi Goldberg were discussing all-inclusive jeans created by Emma Grede, the first African American shark on “Shark Tank.” Goldberg says she hopes the jeans will fit her COVID-19 buttocks, to which Corcoran replies, “When you finish and decide you don’t like them, give them to me and I'll make two pairs.” Simply put, she’s been getting dragged across social media for her remarks and has since issued an apology. LaNier notes that while Corcoran may not have meant any harm, she didn’t specifically address Goldberg in her apology. Hill agrees and says a lot of people are dealing with COVID-19 weight gain, which makes 21the joke even less funny.
