5:04Now PlayingJennifer Jones is a trailblazing dancer who was the first Black woman to take the stage as a Rockette at New York's Radio City Music Hall.
However, her whole world was rocked when she was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2018 after experiencing some symptoms.
“I looked at this disease as an older person’s disease, and now we know that it’s hitting younger and younger adults at an earlier age,” she said.
Jones, who has since become a survivor of the deadly disease, joins Najahe Sherman on “BNC Live” from West Orange, New Jersey, to share her story and encourage people to get a colonoscopy.
