5:09Now PlayingJury selection is now in its third week in the trial of three white men accused of killing Ahmaud Arbery, who claimed they acted in self-defense. BNC correspondent Dray Clark is live in Brunswick, where one defense attorney believes the Black media could be negatively influencing the jury selection process. As of Monday morning, 54 qualified prospective jurors had been selected, only 10 short of the amount needed to begin the process. Kevin Gough, who represents William Bryan, says Black media’s coverage of demonstrators outside the courthouse in support of Arbery is intimidating and violates the defendants’ right to a fair trial. A judge previously denied Gough’s request to have the demonstrators banned from the courthouse.
