9:40Now PlayingIn Oklahoma, John Grant died by lethal injection on Oct. 28 after the U.S. Supreme Court reversed his stay of execution.
Grant was injected with a combination of three lethal drugs that, according to witnesses, caused him to vomit and convulse multiple times before he finally died several minutes later.
There are five other men currently awaiting execution in the state.
Dale Baich, assistant federal public defender, who represents people living on death row, including John Grant, joins Yodit Tewolde on “Making the Case” to discuss Grant’s execution.
