One of the most disastrous examples came from Hurricane Ida, which saw 95 deaths in the U.S.The storm cut a path from Louisiana to Connecticut. On top of this, the Earth's temperature has increased 2 degrees Fahrenheit in less than a couple hundred years.
At this rate, it'll rise to as much as 5 degrees by the end of the century.
