4:52Now PlayingThursday marks day 10 of testimony in the trial of the three white men accused of killing Ahmaud Arbery in Brunswick, and hundreds of Black pastors are expected to converge in Brunswick.
The pastors are not alone, as white pastors have already began showing up in an effort of solidarity. Rev. Kate Buckley, who is white, says, “You can kick a pastor out of the courtroom, but you can’t kick God out of the courtroom.” The move comes following comments from defense attorney Kevin Gough that he believes Black pastors are influencing jurors and should be banned from the courtroom. “Start Your Day” hosts Sharon Reed and Mike Hill are joined by BNC’s Laura McNeal and Dray Clark to discuss the latest.
