He made history by being appointed as Louis Vuitton’s first-ever Black artistic director. He also created the popular streetwear brand Off-White in 2013. Pharrell, Lenny Kravitz, Idris Elba, Hailey Bieber and Gunna were among the many celebrities who sent their condolences to Virgil’s loved ones following his death.
