Jury selection began today in the case against Kim Potter, the white former Minneapolis police officer who killed Daunte Wright, a 20-year-old Black man, just a few miles away from the courthouse where Derek Chauvin was on trial for the murder of George Floyd back in April.
Four jurors have already been selected for the trial. Potter faces two charges of first and second-degree manslaughter.
