Mychal Johnson, Kim Potter’s supervisor at the time, testified today that he unloaded Potter’s gun holster due to concerns that she could possibly injure herself after shooting Daunte Wright in the chest as he tried to drive away from a traffic stop on April 11.
Potter, who is scheduled to testify in the trial, pleaded not guilty to both manslaughter charges, as her defense is she mistook her handgun for her Taser during the fatal incident.
