The company behind the device disputes those claims and says it’s aimed at lowering crime in specific neighborhoods. “BNC Live” host Tashanea Whitlow is joined by Derrick Lewis for the latest on a contract in Houston. Lewis says it works by alerting to police any time gunfire is heard nearby, including the number of rounds fired and the location.
