He is the advisory neighborhood commissioner for District 7F07 in Ward 7. After 26 years in prison, Castón will be able to use his platform to help his constituents, which include the Harriet Tubman Women's Shelter, Park Kennedy Apartments and the residents of the D.C. jail.
Now, he is making his mark in the nation’s capital. In the two months since he has been out, Commissioner Castón has done more than most people do in years.
