She was found unresponsive in her apartment on Dec. 12, 2021, after a date with an older white man she met on the dating app Bumble. Sunday would have been her 24th birthday and the day was used to protest as the family is still demanding answers in her mysterious death. The man she went on a date with was let go by police without any further questioning.
