Of those 28 Democrats, seven are members of the Congressional Black Caucus who are expected to have their seats fills by younger, Black and potentially progressive candidates.
While the most recent wave of Black House members have been progressives, the more tenured Democrats have been grooming and fighting for younger moderate candidates.
