The voting rights of Black Americans continue to be at risk.

On Feb. 7, the Supreme Court allowed Alabama to reinstate a voting map that particularly hurts Black voters.

The decision put a hold on a lower court ruling that increased Black voting power by redrawing congressional districts.

This comes just days after serious racial disparities were found in the 2020 Washington state election where mail-in ballots of Black voters were rejected at four times the rate of white voters and audits from other states show similar results.

Cliff Albright, co-founder of Black Voters Matter, joins Marc Lamont Hill on “Black News Tonight” to discuss.

All this and more on “Black News Tonight.”
