Bill Miller, the founder and chief investment officer of Miller Value Partners, does not think bitcoin is a bubble. Instead, he said it is at the beginning of mainstream adoption. The demand for cryptocurrency exceeded PayPal’s initial expectations after the firm launched crypto trading in late 2020, according to the company’s CEO. NFL player Sean Culkin is converting his entire 2021 NFL salary to Bitcoin. The Bahamas has launched its CBDC called the sand dollar. Institutional cryptocurrency infrastructure firm Securrency has closed a $30 million funding round, backed by banking majors U.S. Bank and State Street. Chainlink gets adoption and endorsement from the IRIS network.
