I’m here with my parents, and we’re talking about our crazy life that we had no way of planning 20 years ago. In that time I’ve learned a ton about the markets. And now I have over 10 years of teaching experience with some incredible students.

Random people sometimes approach my parents to ask questions. No big surprise there ... But I was curious as to what it’s like with their friends.

Turns out, some friends feel a little uncomfortable around my parents. It can be awkward to talk about money openly. It's still kind of a taboo subject for a lot of people.

I obviously have no issues talking about money. I like to show it off as inspiration. I want you to have a visual of what’s possible. I use it to help remind you of why you’re studying and working so hard.

My dad’s friends love the cars. My collection includes a Porsche, Ferrari, McLaren, Rolls Royce, and two Lamborghinis. My mom’s friends prefer the charity work. They like what I’m doing with Karmagawa and Pencils of Promise.

We could break this down into gender preferences, but really it’s about you. Maybe you’re not into cars or charity. Maybe you’re into both, like me. End of the day, it’s whatever inspires you.

I share all of this not to brag but to help motivate you. Because you can start your own charity foundation, you can own your dream cars. But it takes dedication and hard work! There’s no magic formula for success. Your best shot is to study hard, set goals, and have a great work ethic.
