I’m back again with hosts Andre and Christian of the “Real Talk University” podcast. I was recently a guest on the show.

In this segment, I talk about some of the mistakes I’ve made in trading. Early on in my career, I got greedy. I was young and dumb. I wanted MORE money. I started investing for the long term, aiming for a home run ...

And I got into something I knew nothing about.

At the time, I thought that the sky was the limit. Not gonna lie — I was a bit reckless. And I had a big mouth. I ignored everyone who warned me to chill out.

I just didn’t have the proper mindset at the time. It was all still so new to me.

There’s a great lesson here: You don’t have to make the same careless mistakes that I made. That’s exactly why I teach. I want to help you jumpstart your learning curve.

So, for college students out there who wanna get started but don’t have much time ... you have time. Stop partying, stop smoking weed, stop playing Fortnite, and stop watching Netflix. If you want something, you have to make it a priority. You have to make sacrifices.

Think of yourself as an apprentice. Start talking to and learning from experts. Listen to what they say — all the nuances, subtleties, and strategies. Work to find your niche.

And work on building your social media following. If you have a social media following, life can be easier. Social media helps me gain so much publicity. Just remember to keep it 100% real.

You have the entire internet at your fingertips. Use it every single day. Be obsessed with it. Just get out there. You never know what can lead to an opportunity — and that just totally blows my mind.
