I teach, trade, travel, and do a ton of charity work. It sounds like a lot, but there’s one skill that helps me through it all. You should work on mastering it too. What’s this magical skill?
Multitasking.
If you’re serious about becoming a trader, whether you have a full-time job or you’re a student, you have to learn to balance and juggle a lot. You want a life too, right?
OK, so no matter who you are or where in the world you are, mastering this skill is non-negotiable.
I've been working for over 20 years, pretty much every single day. Whether I'm trading, teaching, or growing my charity — it's all work. And I LOVE it.
That's a bonus lesson… Focus on what you love. I know that there are so many possibilities, but I encourage you to try a lot of different things. Heck, try it all. Find what YOU love.
But you have to realize something: If you want to be successful in anything, especially trading, you have to accept that it requires hard work and patience.
Occasionally, I miss trades. It’s OK! But the cool thing about the stock market? Once you educate yourself enough, once you’re really a self-sufficient trader ... you’ll realize the market’s always there.
There will always be another opportunity. And another after that. And so on...
Sometimes it’s easy for me to get caught up in trying to balance everything that I work on. But if I couldn’t multitask, I wouldn’t be able to do any of it at all.
Once you master it, you’ll feel how much of a difference it makes. This skill can help you greatly improve your productivity.
How do you multitask on a daily basis? How long did it take you to master it? Drop a comment below and let me know!
