Matt Gaetz shelled out tens of thousands of dollars to women for sex or drugs on over 20 occasions! According to a final draft of the panel’s report, obtained exclusively by CNN, Gaetz even paid a 17-year-old for sexual encounters in 2017!
The GOP-led committee didn’t hold back, revealing in their explosive document that Gaetz not only broke Florida state laws but also violated the state's statutory rape laws. They've taken the unprecedented step to release this report, even after his resignation from Congress.
“The Committee determined there is substantial evidence that Representative Gaetz violated House Rules and other standards of conduct prohibiting prostitution, statutory rape, illicit drug use, impermissible gifts, special favors or privileges, and obstruction of Congress,” the investigators shockingly declared.
Digging deep, the panel scrutinized Gaetz's personal transactions via PayPal and Venmo, linking him to more than a dozen women during his tenure in Congress. The report also highlights a scandalous 2018 trip to the Bahamas, described by one participant as “the payment” for sex, where Gaetz indulged in ecstasy and sexual activities with multiple women, blatantly violating House gift rules.
The former congressman has long denied any wrongdoing, often pointing to the Justice Department's decision not to prosecute him in 2023.
