But that’s history. Nowadays, Istanbul is a lively city that hosts more than 15 million inhabitants. It is a growing financial, logistical, commercial, and of course… touristic hub.
In fact, in recent years, one of the Turkish authorities’ priorities has been to promote a new type of high-added value tourism: medical tourism.
