The 81-year-old president received his first dose of antiviral medication and is self-isolating, the White House reported on Thursday, July 18. According to the press service, on July 17, after the first meeting at the annual UnidosUS conference on Latino advocacy, Biden experienced COVID-19 symptoms such as a runny nose, cough, and general malaise. Due to his illness, Joe Biden missed one of the conference meetings, where attendees waited for him for an hour and a half.
