All 19 hijackers from that September day were able to get past airline security checkpoints. Mr. Hedlund and his Los Angeles-based law firm were members of the Plaintiffs' Executive Committee for the September 11, 2001 Tort Litigation and represented many of the victims from the four planes hijacked that day.
