7:14Now PlayingRep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., defended Democrats’ handling of the impeachment process during a House Rules Committee meeting on Dec. 17. Raskin, a member of the House Judiciary Committee, which gave initial approval to the articles of impeachment, spoke during a House Rules Committee meeting that aimed to determine the rules that will govern the full House vote on the articles of impeachment. Responding to Rep. Doug Collins’ criticism that the impeachment process has been unfair, Raskin said lawmakers heard from 17 “fact witnesses” who provided a clear picture of President Donald Trump’s misconduct with regard to Ukraine. The two articles charge Trump with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The vote is slated for Dec. 18.
