YouTube Description
as posted by the channelGov. Tim Walz criticized former President Donald Trump for his “fickle leadership” when it came to his nuclear diplomacy with Iran, claiming that Trump’s exit from the Iran nuclear deal put Iran “closer to a nuclear weapon than they were before.” He also claimed that Trump did not take Iran’s nuclear capabilities seriously enough.
“When Iran shot down an American aircraft in international airspace, Donald Trump tweeted — because that's the standard diplomacy of Donald Trump. And when Iranian missiles did fall near U.S. troops, and they received traumatic brain injuries, Donald Trump wrote it off as headaches,” Walz said.
He then echoed the notion that Trump lacks strong loyalty to U.S. allies.
“Look, our allies understand that Donald Trump is fickle. He will go to whoever has the most flattery or where it makes sense to him,” Walz said.
With just more than a month to go before Election Day, Sen. JD Vance and Walz met for their first and only vice presidential debate on Oct. 1, hosted by CBS in New York.
