He visits a conference run by the Vegetarian Society which not only includes talks and cooking demonstrations but also has its own beauty contest, as well as a meeting of the Vegetarian Cycling and Athletic Club. Also featured is a school which serves no meat in any of its school dinners - vegetarianism isn’t just being taken up by adults, children are changing their diets too. Some people are even taking things a step further - going vegan.
