Luke Casey reports on retired engineer Ken White of Essex, whose hobby is collecting old agricultural machinery and listening to tape-recordings of their sound. Unfortunately for Ken, his neighbours don't share his appreciation for industrial music, so Ken retreats to the country, where he can enjoy the sweet sounds of his vintage fruit sprayer, his 1908 Wade drag saw, and his antique threshing machine in peace. When he isn't pottering about with agricultural machinery, Ken enjoys repairing vintage cars.
