Illegal sale of narcotic substances busted!!

ಯಲಹಂಕ ನ್ಯೂ ಟೌನ್, ಆಡುಗೋಡಿ, ಭಾರತೀನಗರ, ಜಾಲಹಳ್ಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪುಲಿಕೇಶಿನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಗಳ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 11 ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ನಾರ್ಕೋಟಿಕ್ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಮಾರಾಟಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಂಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಪೊಲೀಸರು 2 ಕೆಜಿ 7 ಗ್ರಾಂ MDMA, ₹31 ಕೆಜಿ 396 ಗ್ರಾಂ ಗಾಂಜಾ, 220 ಗ್ರಾಂ ಹೈಡ್ರೋ ಗಾಂಜಾ ಮತ್ತು 162 ಗ್ರಾಂ ಹೆರಾಯಿನ್ ಅನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಅಪರಾಧಕ್ಕೆ ಬಳಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಒಂದು ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನವನ್ನೂ ಸಹ ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾದ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಮೊತ್ತದ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ಮೌಲ್ಯ ಸುಮಾರು ₹2.57ಕೋಟಿ (ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ಬೆಲೆ ₹5.14 ಕೋಟಿ) ಎಂದು ಅಂದಾಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಜಾಗರೂಕರಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾದಕವ್ಯಸನ ಅಥವಾ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಕಳ್ಳಸಾಗಣೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ದೊರೆತಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತಿರದ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಗೆ ಅಥವಾ 112 ನಂಬರ್‌ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Within the limits of Yelahanka New Town, Adugodi, Bharathinagar, Jalahalli and Pulikeshinagar Police Stations, 11 persons have been arrested for illegal sale of narcotic substances. Police have seized 2 kg 7 grams of MDMA, 31 kg 396 grams of Ganja, 220 grams of Hydro Ganja, and 162 grams of Heroin, along with a two-wheeler used in the offence. The total value of the seized items is approximately ₹2.57 crore (market value ₹5.14 crore).

Public is advised to stay vigilant and report any information related to drug abuse or trafficking to the nearest police station or dial 112.
