as posted by the channelಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸರು, ಉತ್ತರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಗಳಾದ್ಯಂತ ನಡೆಸಿದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ CEIR ಪೋರ್ಟಲ್ ಬಳಸಿ ಕಳೆದುಹೋದ ಮತ್ತು ಕಳ್ಳತನವಾದ 110 ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನ್ಗಳನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿ, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ವಿವಿಧ ಬ್ರ್ಯಾಂಡ್ಗಳ ಈ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ಗಳ ಒಟ್ಟು ಅಂದಾಜು ಮೌಲ್ಯ ಸುಮಾರು ₹22.3 ಲಕ್ಷ ಆಗಿದೆ.
ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ, ಮೈಕೋ ಲೇಔಟ್ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಮನೆ ಕಳ್ಳತನ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿದ್ದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಾರ್ಹ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು 23 ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನ್ಗಳು, 03 ಲ್ಯಾಪ್ಟಾಪ್ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು 01 ಟ್ಯಾಬ್ ಅನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವುಗಳ ಒಟ್ಟು ಅಂದಾಜು ಮೌಲ್ಯ ಸುಮಾರು ₹5.79 ಲಕ್ಷ ಆಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ಬಂಧನದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಒಟ್ಟು 03 ಕಳ್ಳತನ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ನಾಗರಿಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನ್ ಕಳೆದುಹೋದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಕಳ್ಳತನವಾದಲ್ಲಿ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ CEIR ಪೋರ್ಟಲ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಅಥವಾ ಹತ್ತಿರದ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಸ್ಟೇಷನ್ಗೆ ವರದಿ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಫೋನ್ಗಳನ್ನು ಮರಳಿ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಸಹಾಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
Bengaluru City Police, in a special operation across North Division police stations, have successfully traced and recovered 110 lost and stolen mobile phones of various brands using the CEIR portal, collectively valued at approximately ₹22.3 lakh.
In a separate case, Mico Layout Police have arrested two accused involved in house-theft cases. Acting on credible information, police teams recovered 23 mobile phones, 03 laptops, and 01 tab, worth approximately ₹5.79 lakh. With this arrest, a total of 03 theft cases have been successfully detected.
Citizens are advised to report lost or stolen mobile phones promptly through the CEIR portal or at the nearest police station to aid swift recovery.
