1:07Now PlayingThe Hennessey Fire continued to blaze in Napa County, California, on August 18, burning up to 2,700 acres, forcing evacuation orders, and threatening hundreds of structures.
According to CAL Fire, the Hennessey Fire began on August 17 as a result of a lightning strike, and quickly grew in size through the night. Evacuations have been ordered for several surrounding areas.
Local news reported firefighters were racing to save a historic winery.
As of the afternoon of August 18, the 2,700-acre fire was zero percent contained. Additionally, two other fires, the Gamble Fire and the 15-10 Fire, remain active nearby in Napa County.
