1:00Now PlayingPresident Joe Biden is putting the spotlight on one of the country’s most restrictive abortion laws, seizing on the issue while on Donald Trump’s own Florida turf and as his rival is distracted by a criminal trial.
In a Tuesday speech in Tampa, Biden will assail a six-week abortion ban set to take effect in Florida, laying blame for the it and similar restrictions across the country on Trump, according to the campaign.
Biden is seeking to rattle Trump in a state where the former president’s Mar-a-Lago residence has become a magnet for conservatives courting his favor — and on an issue where the presumptive Republican nominee has struggled.
