Traffic continued to flow in both directions through the strait on Friday, with two fully laden tankers heading out of the Persian Gulf and four empty very large crude carriers sailing along the Omani coast.
Iran's foreign ministry said management of Hormuz would take place according to the agreement signed with the US, but the country's deputy foreign minister said safe transit without its permission couldn’t be guaranteed.
