The death toll from twin earthquakes that rocked Venezuela rose to at least 920 with nearly 3,400 more injured, as rescue teams desperately clear away rubble to reach trapped victims.
More than 170 people were still trapped in debris and at least 3,000 had lost their homes, National Assembly chief Jorge Rodríguez said in a report Friday afternoon.
