as posted by the channelThe Blues and Royals carry out the Dismounted Parade, also known as the four o'clock parade, at Horse Guards. At four of the clock every day the Guards on duty are inspected, after which the two mounted sentries are relieved. Two dismounted sentries remain on duty until 20:00, when the gates are closed and one sentry keeps watch until the next morning.
This is a Long-Guard, which means that a trumpeter and extra men are present for the ceremony. This is because HM the Queen is currently in London, and there are additional soldiers on garrison duty in the city. -
