When drilling at Fort Laurens, we decided that it would be good fun to change it up a bit and let everyone try their hand at parading the troops. It was great fun, but more stressful than I would have imagined, given that we were so small a group and without an enemy to concern ourselves with. I made a number of mistakes in the field, of varying severity, which would have overall rendered me a fairly incompetent commander. Especially if these mistakes took place during the day's later battle, or with a larger body of troops! -
