Armed Civilian Stops Mass Shooting At Family Cookout

A man in Leesburg, Georgia allegedly put on body armor, grabbed an AR-style rifle, and came back to a family reunion after yelling racial slurs at the people gathered there.

The family says they did everything right.

They let him go.

They tried to make sense of what just happened.

They got the kids inside.

They called for help.

But when he came back armed, help was still minutes away — and the threat was right there in seconds.
