And the wildest part is that this man’s entire job was supposed to be keeping people safe.
Instead, police say he was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and assault with a stun gun.
That’s the lesson.
People hear “less lethal” and think harmless.
It is not harmless.
A taser to the face is not a joke. That’s an eye, a temple, and a skull taking a hit from something the victim never saw coming.
But this story is bigger than one security guard.
It’s about what happens when a person gets a little bit of authority, no one checks them, and they start believing they have more power than they actually do.
The guy hired to protect the room became the threat inside it.
And that is the Second Amendment lesson.
Because every day, people are told to outsource their safety.
Trust security.
Trust the guy at the door.
Trust the system.
Trust the government.
But the government has no constitutional duty to protect you as an individual, and this clip is a reminder that even the person wearing the patch can become the problem.
You are your own first responder.
Always have been.
