as posted by the channelIn this oral history recorded for the Nixon Presidential Library, photographer David Hume Kennerly recalls his coverage of Richard Nixon from his 1968 presidential campaign through his 1974 resignation. President Ford then asked him to join his White House and document his presidency. At the time, Mr. Kennerly was only in his twenties, even though he was already a veteran Vietnam combat photographer and a Pulitzer Prize winner.
