as posted by the channel

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrives in Washington, DC ahead of Tuesday's meetings with President Joe Biden, House Speaker Mike Johnson, and a speech to Senators, to try to unlock the $61 billion in aid for Ukraine requested by President Biden, which has been stuck in Congress over Republican insistence that U.S. immigration and border security reform be attached to it.

President Zelensky said today, "if there's anyone inspired by unresolved issues on Capitol Hill, it's just Putin and his sick clique."

We will hear from President Zelensky, the White House, Senate leaders and from Bloomberg Government Congress reporter Zach Cohen.

White House is responding to the resignation this weekend of University of Pennsylvania President Liz Magill after she was criticized at a U.S. House hearing last week for not strongly condemning antisemitism on her campus.

United Nations plans a full General Assembly debate and vote this week on a resolution calling for a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war, after the U.S. vetoed a ceasefire resolution in the UN Security Council on Friday.

President Biden visits a firehouse in Philadelphia to announce a $22 million federal grant that will pay for 72 firefighters for three years.

U.S. House takes up a bill to extend the FAA authorization for three months, while a longer-term bill is worked out.

And we will hear from the next Mayor of Houston, Texas State Senator John Whitmore (D), and the person he defeated on Saturday in a runoff election, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX).
