YouTube Description
as posted by the channelPresident Trump called Cuba a “failed country” Thursday during an Oval Office event announcing the rollback of refrigerant regulations.
“Look, it’s a failed country, everybody knows it,” President Trump said. “They don’t have electricity, they don’t have money, they don’t have really anything.”
The comments came after a reporter asked whether a recently deployed U.S. aircraft carrier was meant as a form of intimidation. Trump responded by saying he wants to help the people of Cuba, adding that many Cuban Americans in Florida want to see the country become more “invested.”
“Other presidents have looked at this for 50, 60 years, doing something. It looks like I’ll be the one that does it.”
