0:39Now PlayingSecretary of State Marco Rubio met with British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband on Wednesday at the State Department, where they discussed the war with Iran and efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
During a photo opportunity, Mr. Miliband ignored questions about whether he still believed President Trump was an "idiot, a racist and a misogynist."
"We're looking forward to our meeting," he told reporters.
Shortly after the meeting, State Department spokesperson Tommy Pigott released a statement saying: "Secretary of State Marco Rubio met today with UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband. The two discussed the importance of Europe taking on a greater role in its own security. They reiterated their shared commitment to safe transit in the Strait of Hormuz and ensuring Iran never develops or obtains a nuclear weapon."
